AmeriCorps NCCC Silver 1 Team arrived at 2:14pm yesterday. These 11 people, 8 male, 3 female, 18-24-year-olds, will be in Green River for 23 days serving the Community Center, Boys & Girls Club, elementary school, and EPIcenter. They are here to “Get Things Done.”

Sadly, Mark Debry died over the weekend. We are not sure of all the details yet, but it seems the flu was coupled with pneumonia. He had previously had cancer, and had beat it, but it is possible his immune system had been weakened. He is survived by his wife and four children. Once we have an obituary and any information about how to send condolences, we will post it.
