Aimée O'Carroll On-line! →
Aimée O’Carroll was here in Green River last September. And we’ve just worked it the details for her to be here again this September! She will be here working on the design and development of a new USDA home-loan funded house. We’ll have her for three months until Christmas. While here, she’ll be applying for jobs within the field of architecture. To prepare, she’s...

Business Incubator Center →
Today, three of the Epicrew (Maria, Ted, and Justin) head to Grand Junction, Colorado to visit the Business Incubator Center. The Business Incubator Center serves a mission to accelerate the successful development of businesses from start-up, through the growth stages, and on. They provide many of the services we hope to start in Green River, so we can’t to see how they get things done!

Old gas station sign on West Main right before you leave Green River, Utah. This has inspired us to photodocument all the hand-painted (and non-hand-painted) signage in Green River, Utah. A photo essay in the works. Amidst a landscape of vapid strip malls and sterile signage, hand-painted lettering retains a soulful aesthetic to be treasured. Like other crafts dissolving in the digital age,...

Kelly Jean just brought these folks to our attention (because Maria is writing a brief essay currently titled How the Front Porch Can Save the World if You’re Nice to People). We really like notion of light infrastructure// brightly colored portable porches to stimulate conversation, provide spaces for rest and eating, and to foster a sense of community. Stay tuned for the essay…

There is a quick stop at the Valley of the Gods in Mexican Hat, Utah along with many other amazing sights along the way. It is a three day excursion.
