The above is tiny piece of a larger infographic of the chronology of the field of public interest design that PublicInterestDesign.org created. This is the first in a series of infographics that they hope to develop on the growing and evolving field. FYI: We’re totally left out of this infographic. But maybe that’s a good thing? We’re not looking for fame or critique from people who have never even been to Green River. However, we are a part of this movement. Our founders all attended Auburn University (known for the Rural Studio). We provide design and service to the residents of Green River regardless of income level. Our mission is literally in line with public interest design. I’m sure there are other emerging organizations out there that were left out, so we’ll let it slide for now.
