The Utah Health Exchange is Utah’s response to health reform. It is a market-based program that gives employers and employees choice in their health care. Employers choose a set dollar amount to contribute to employees for health care costs, and employees use those funds to purchase a plan of their choice that fits their family and budget.

Employers like the year-over-year cost control that the Exchange provides, while employees appreciate the power to choose from over 100 plans and 3 carriers. In fact, once on the Exchange, 93% of companies choose to renew every year.
